I’m Dave Cupples, an Australian Entrepreneur who successfully obtained the Tech Nation UK Global Talent Visa Endorsement, started a company in the UK, got PR/ILR and became a UK citizen. I have been through the entire process first hand, plus as a big networker have gone to many Tech Nation events in the UK and met hundreds of others who have been approved, denied, appealed and seen just about everything – so happy to help make this journey smoother and much less stressful for you. Back then I even opened my Tech Nation UK Exceptional / Global Talent Visa Decision Letter live on the internet (video below).

Since so many people have asked for help to also get endorsed, I can help with UK Global Talent Visa Consulting / Endorsement Coaching so please contact me if I can help 💪

About the Global Talent Visa

The UK Global Talent Visa was a lifesaver for me to be able to live and work in the UK without needing sponsorship, with the freedom to travel, start my own company and even get UK PR and Citizenship, plus can even bring family and dependents to the UK with you.

Purpose: Designed for exceptional tech talent worldwide – I am especially familiar with people and cases from Australia, United States, Canada, New Zealand, Europe and India – but ANY country national is eligible to apply. For EU Friends, the UK Global Talent Visa is now one way to now be able to live and work in the UK after Brexit.
Freedom: Work without restrictions on roles or companies, even work for smaller startups which often cannot sponsor or you can even start your own company. With other sponsored visas, they are unfortunately tied to your employer, so I have seen many people lose their jobs, meaning they also have to leave the UK! This Tier 1 Tech Nation Global / Exceptional Talent Visa is not like that at all as it is not linked to any employer and has been a lifesaver.
UK PR in 3 yrs: fast pathway to ILR and UK Citizenship, this is a huge time saving and money saving compared to other visas which take years longer meaning save thousands in health surcharges.

Mandatory Criteria (MC1) and Optional Criteria (OC1, OC2, OC3, OC4)

TN Visa applicants must meet the Mandatory Criteria (MC1) and two out of four Optional Criteria (OC1, OC2, OC3, OC4).

Mandatory Criteria (MC1) – Demonstrate you are recognised as a leading talent (or having the potential aka “promise” to be a leading talent) in the digital technology sector.

Optional Criteria (choose 2 of 4):
OC1 – Innovation – E.g. show evidence of innovative contributions in digital technology.

OC2 – Industry Recognition / Contribution – E.g. contribution to the industry outside work – like open source contributions, conference speeches, mentorship, awards or media coverage.

OC3 – Impact – E.g. significant contribution to the commercial success of a digital technology company.

OC4 – Academic – E.g. research, peer-reviewed publications, advanced degrees and awards.

To apply for Stage 1 Global Talent Visa Endorsement you must be prepared to gather those 3 references, write a detailed personal statement and include up to 10 pieces of evidence.

I have much more detailed tips, draft guides and tips on the types of evidence that I have seen accepted, common reasons for rejections, plus what Tech Nation wants to see and also not see in applications, evidence and reference letters. To give the most effective help depends on your specific case and background so happy to discuss your experience and give more specific tips privately.
